How does scheduling work in Ashby?
Short answer
Ashby interview scheduling is built into the ATS. Ashby says core scheduling comes with all of its plans, and its scheduling page lists calendar views, candidate availability and booking links, reminders, multi-day scheduling, interviewer pools and interviewer limits. Its Advanced Scheduling Automation add-on is available to buy on the Plus plan and included on Enterprise.
Core scheduling
Ashby says it comes with core scheduling capabilities across all plans. Its scheduling page lists a calendar scheduling view, candidate availability links, direct and public booking links, interview reminders, multi-day scheduling, two-way event syncing, interviewer pools, and daily and weekly interviewer limits.
Advanced Scheduling Automation add-on
Available to buy on the Plus plan and included on the Enterprise plan, Ashby says. It adds auto-scheduling for complex interview loops, centralized scheduling requests with a dashboard for coordinators, interviewer training tracking, automatic replacement of declined interviewers and calendar holds. Ashby’s Advanced Scheduling Metrics come with Enterprise, and with the add-on on Plus.
When to add a dedicated scheduling layer
Ashby’s scheduling covers the core. Teams add ModernLoop on top of Ashby when coordination becomes bigger than booking a time. These are the signs.
Your loops get complex. Panels and onsites across time zones. ModernLoop’s scheduling algorithm proposes multiple schedules from candidate availability, interviewer availability and interviewer load.
